South Of The Border

Head to Hobarts tonight for a sonic journey to worldly locations. Desafinado will break out flutes, saxes, horns, guitars, a rain stick and plenty of other instruments to bring you Brazilian Jazz that is alternately slinky and spicy. Individually, this band’s nine members have performed with Natalie Cole, Mel Torme and Bob Hope as well as the Spokane Jazz Orchestra and Spokane Symphony. Their sambas, bossa-novas and tangos are great for a little rear shaking. Show starts at 9 p.m. Cover is $4 and $3 for students. , DataTimes
