Gunman Holds Up North Side Bank

Sheriff’s deputies were searching late Friday for an armed robber who held up a North Side bank that afternoon.

The man entered Inland Northwest Bank, 1021 E. Hawthorne, at 3:49 p.m. When he demanded money, a gun was visible in the waistband of his pants, deputies said.

He escaped in a vehicle with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a white man in his 20s, with blond hair.
