Julia Roberts, Richard Gere Talking To Team Up Again

The Hollywood Reporter

Julia Roberts and Richard Gere could be about to team up for the first time since 1990’s “Pretty Woman.”

Sources said that the two are in talks to co-star in Universal’s “Intolerable Cruelty,” while Gere is also eyeing a role alongside Roberts in Disney’s “Manhattan Ghost Story.”

The pictures are among several projects Roberts is considering in the wake of the success of “My Best Friend’s Wedding.”

“Intolerable Cruelty” is a romantic comedy about a woman who starts having an affair with the lawyer who is representing her husband in their divorce proceedings.

“Manhattan Ghost Story,” a romantic suspense thriller, is based on a script by “Wedding” scribe Ron Bass.
