Woman Critically Injured In Rollover On Sunrise Drive

A Spokane woman was critically injured Friday when her car rolled over on Sunrise Drive.

Julie A. Harness, 35, was headed west when she lost control of her black Suzuki Samurai shortly before midnight, said the Washington State Patrol.

Her car left the roadway, struck landscaping and trees, and rolled several times before coming to rest on its top at 16511 Sunrise Drive. She suffered massive head and internal injuries.

Harness was transported by helicopter to Sacred Heart Medical Center, where she was in critical condition late Saturday.

Her passenger, Kenneth W. Red, 24, was taken by ambulance to Sacred Heart Medical Center, where he was treated and released for a broken wrist and head lacerations.
