Mage Wins Boise Senior Open
Gary Mage made up for a runnerup finish last week by winning four matches, the last 225-194 over top-seeded Pete Couture, to claim the Professional Bowlers Association’s Boise Senior Open.
The victory, Mage’s second since joining the senior tour last year, was worth $8,000. The Vancouver, Wash., businessman also captured a PBA title in 1972 when he was a touring pro.
