By Compiled From Wire Services

Three Lind, Wash., teenagers were injured Friday after a rollover accident near Ritzville.

The teens, none of whom was old enough to drive, were headed west on Frontage Road in a 1993 Jeep Cherokee at about 8:30 p.m. when the driver lost control. The Jeep veered left and right before leaving the roadway, rolling over at least three times, said the Washington State Patrol.

It landed in a field, ejecting two of the three teens.

The driver, Alicia R. Olson, 15, suffered a back fracture and abrasions after being thrown out of the vehicle. Becky E. Walter, 14, also was ejected. She suffered head lacerations and abrasions.

Another passenger, Tyson E. Martel, 14, suffered minor injuries, the WSP said.

The three were transported to East Adams Rural Hospital in Ritzville. Hospital staff declined to release information Saturday regarding the teens’ conditions.
