Wesley Bell Ringers To Visit North Hill Christian Church
The Wesley Bell Ringers of the Christ United Methodist Church in Salt Lake City will be in concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at North Hill Christian Church, 4620 N. Post. The 25 high school students will perform a variety of music styles using over 400 bells.
The bell ringers are on a concert tour that includes Idaho, Oregon, California and Nevada. The concert is free, but donations will be accepted.
North Hill Christian will also host a rummage sale on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Baked goods and crafts will be available for purchase, and a car wash will round out the schedule of events. The money raised will be used to help fund the summer music ministry tour of the Emanon Youth Choir.
Salem Lutheran celebrating
Salem Lutheran Church, 1428 W. Broadway, will celebrate their 109th anniversary with a special celebration on Sunday. A hymn festival will be at 6 p.m., followed by an ice cream social. For more information about the special event, call the church office at 328-6280.
Bible school information
The “Wild Frontier Bible Theme Park” will start Monday and run through June 27 at Zion Lutheran Church, 218 E. Crawford in Deer Park. The vacation Bible school is open to children age 3 through the sixth grade.
The children will sing, play games, create their own pop-up book, and perform a skit each day that highlights what they’ve learned. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by lunch. The school is free. To register or for more information, call the church office at 276-2954.
Driscoll Boulevard Baptist Church will host the “Wild and Wonderful Good News Stampede” Bible school starting Monday through June 27. The free school is open to children age 4 through the sixth grade. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The school will close with a family picnic at 5:30 p.m. on June 27.

Registration for vacation Bible school is now being accepted at the First Church of the Open Bible, 8303 N. Division. The school will be held from 9 a.m. to noon July 7-11. All children from age 4 through the sixth grade are invited to attend.
The school will include Bible stories, music, crafts, games and several guest speakers. The school is free. For information on how to register, call the church office at 467-5122.
