Airport Shuttle To Serve Seattle Suburbs

Starting April 1, an airport shuttle service will carry people from Seattle’s eastern suburbs to Sea-Tac International Airport - perhaps the first step in construction of remote airport terminals.

For about $14, air passengers will be able to take a shuttle from downtown Bellevue to the airport. The service will be available for a year - maybe longer, depending on popularity.

Arthur Haskins, an airport program development manager, said the service may eventually lead to construction of remote terminals in Bellevue and Tacoma handling ticketing and baggage check-in.
