Stankowski Cleans Up With 66

Compiled From Wire Services

One day after rain washed out the second round, Paul Stankowski took advantage of being able to lift, clean and place his ball and shot a 6-under-par 66 at TPC at Heron Bay that gave him a stroke lead over John Huston and Michael Bradley after two rounds of the Honda Classic PGA golf tournament in Coral Springs, Fla.

The remaining 36 holes of the tournament will be played today.

David Graham made a 5-foot birdie putt on the final hole at Newport Beach (Calif.) Country Club to take a one-stroke lead over Bob Murphy after two rounds of the Toshiba Senior Classic.

Annika Sorenstam had a birdie-par-eagle start in the third round of the Welch’s-Circle K Championship in Tucson, Ariz., then lost her putting magic and shot a 3-under-par 69 that left her at 12-under 204 and nursing a one-stroke lead over Donna Andrews and Tina Barrett.

Rathdrum’s Tracy Hanson is four shots off the lead at 208.
