Talking ‘Bout Our Generation’s Move To Mondays

Our Generation says good-bye to Wednesdays today in preparation for its big move at the end of the month.

This is the last day you’ll find the teen page on Wednesday, tucked inside the food section. We’ll take a week off to get ready for the move and, starting March 31, Our Generation will be found on the cover of IN Life on Mondays.

You’ll still get Our Generation’s unique approach to teen life, issues and interests. And inside the section, readers will continue to find all the Monday IN Life regulars the families page, columnist John Rosemond, Ann Landers, horoscopes and comics.

We think the move will give Our Generation a higher profile. What do you think? Call 459-5456 to voice your opinion.

Cultural outreach: Are you a French fanatic? Do you want to maintain and possibly improve your fluency over the summer? Would you like to get to know a teen from another country? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you’re in luck.

Loisirs Culturels a l’Etranger(LEC) is a Spokane-based organization that matches French students up with American families for a month-long homestay during July or August. If you are interested in serving as a host to one of these students, check with your parents and then call Mary Benham at 359-2822 or 747-0692.
