Meltdown

Water. Around the Inland Northwest we’ve had our fill. Then we’ve had more.

It slips away from the oversized mountain snowpack. It gushes through pine forests in a web of rivulets. It crashes through the rocks and dams that obstruct the riverbed. It quietly flattens as it reaches the lowlands.

This much water can be cause for concern. But it can also be cause for wonder. , DataTimes ILLUSTRATION: 4 Color Photos
