Buffalo To Feel Draft In Nhl

Buffalo, last host to the NHL draft in 1991, will be the site of the event in 1998.

This year’s draft is scheduled for Pittsburgh next month.

“With the opening of Marine Midland Arena last September and success enjoyed by the Sabres this season, the future of hockey in Buffalo has never looked brighter,” NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said.

The Sabres are playing Philadelphia in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
