Scott Favre Arrested

Compiled From Wire Services

Breaking house arrest, reportedly for a holiday fishing trip, proved costly for the older brother of Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre.

Scott Favre, 30, now must serve his original 15-year prison sentence for felony DUI, instead of the one year of house arrest that would have kept him out of jail.

A judge, acting on the recommendation of prosecutors, in March suspended 14 years and ordered one year of house arrest after Favre pleaded guilty to felony DUI. The charge stemmed for a 1996 automobile accident in which Scott Favre’s best friend was killed.
