Brennan’s Effort Earns Burger King Scholarship

From Staff Reports

Idaho quarterback Brian Brennan has been chosen as a Burger King College Football Scholarship winner.

Brennan is one of eight players honored, and Burger King will donate $10,000 to Idaho’s general scholarship fund in his name.

Selections are based on on-field performance, academic achievement and community involvement.< Brennan’s grade-point average is 3.14. He has been a guest speaker at elementary schools.

He was selected after passing for 396 yards and two touchdowns against North Texas on Oct. 4. Winning the weekly award qualifies Brennan for the Burger King Vincent Draddy Scholar-Athlete of the Year award. Four will be selected as $25,000 finalists. The winner’s school receives a $100,000 endowment.
