Back To The Days Of Gore

Lions will eat Christians and gladiators will die by the sword once again in ancient Rome at a state-of-the-art theme park due to be completed in two years in the countryside outside the fabled city. The $258 million Roma Vetus project will have palaces, forums, thermal baths and an amphitheater. Visitors, fed authentic delicacies, will be able to watch chariot races, gladiatorial contests and Christians being mauled by wild animals thanks to Oscar-winning special effects wizard Carlo Rambaldi, who created E.T. for director Steven Spielberg.
