Visiting East Valley gave Sandpoint a lot to think about one week before the Bulldogs’ Inland Empire League opener with a 35-14 win.
Knights running back Adrian Likely scored the first three touchdowns. He ended with 167 yards on 15 carries. Likely scored on runs of 73, 6 and 11 yards.
Sandpoint’s Caleb Bowman had three catches for 51 yards, scoring on a 31-yard pass from quarterback Paul Neiman. Kurt Berkley scored the other TD for Sandpoint on a 95-yard kickoff return.
The Bulldogs open IEL play next Friday against undefeated Lake City.
