Men Rob Woman At Valley Home
Two men demanding drugs robbed a woman at gunpoint in her Spokane Valley home on Monday afternoon, authorities said.
Four days earlier, officers raided the same house at 4508 E. Fourth, seizing marijuana plants and arresting a man.
In Monday’s robbery, a small amount of cash was taken from a back bedroom about 1 p.m., sheriff’s deputies said.
The men threatened a 30-year-old woman inside the home. No one was hurt.
The thieves drove away in a blue, four-door Buick or Chevrolet, deputies said.
One robber is described as white, in his 30s with a blond pony tail and dark clothes. Deputies say the other man is Hispanic, in his 20s, with a shaved head and baggy clothes.
Last week’s raid netted 30 marijuana plants and more than $3,000 cash, deputies said.
Johnnie Mitchell, 27, was arrested and charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, manufacturing a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
He was in the Spokane County Jail late Monday on $25,000 bond. , DataTimes
