Driver Suffers Fatal Heart Attack

A 66-year-old Spirit Lake man suffered a fatal heart attack behind the wheel Saturday, resulting in a roll-over accident on State Highway 41.

Donald L. Stout was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Idaho State Police.

Troopers responding to reports of an overturned blue 1991 Ford truck north of Spirit Lake found Stout at 2 p.m. Saturday. He lost control after suffering a heart attack, according to the ISP.
