Winter recreation

A variety of winter recreation sessions, including instruction and trips in cross country skiing for women, teens, families and seniors, is being organized by the Spokane City Parks and Recreation Department.

Trips range from full-moon ski trips in the Spokane area to overnighters to Priest Lake, the Methow Valley and Canada.

Even backcountry trips are available this year, said Mike Aho, recreation coordinator.
