Idaho Independent Reports Record Results

Idaho Independent Bank has announced record year-end results for 1997.

As of Dec. 31, total assets were up more than $51 million to $117.8 million, an increase of nearly 77 percent over the prior year. Total deposits and repurchase agreements rose $49.8 million to $108.7 million, an increase of nearly 85 percent. Total loans were up $16.6 million to $58.7 million, an increase of more than 46 percent.

Idaho Independent Bank earned $800,238 net after taxes in 1997. That represents an earnings increase of 167 percent compared with 1996.

Idaho Independent Bank currently operates branches in Coeur d’Alene, Hayden Lake and Boise. The bank opened in 1993 with 12 employees and now employs 63. , DataTimes
