Murder Suspect Out Of Hospital
A man suspected of shooting two women at a karaoke bar earlier this week was booked on two counts of aggravated murder Friday after he was released from the hospital, a police spokesman said.
Eric Walter Running, 47, was taken to the Justice Center Jail, police Lt. Cliff Madison said.
Running underwent surgery at Legacy Emanuel Hospital after he was found Thursday night with his throat slashed.
He was charged in the shooting deaths of two women Tuesday night at a karaoke bar on the city’s east side. Both victims, Jacqueline J. Anderson, 29, and Barbara J. Gilpin, 44, knew the suspect, police said.
