Cardinals Done In By Technicals

North Idaho College’s shot at its second victory in the rugged Scenic West Conference went awry Saturday, when the Cardinals lost 70-68 to Treasure Valley at Ontario, Ore.

The Cardinals led 29-19 in the first half before a technical foul on the NIC bench gave Treasure Valley momentum on the way to a 36-33 halftime lead.

Later, NIC cut the lead to 70-68 but another technical did the Cardinals in.
