Your thoughts of taking the family camping turn to nightmares?

Fear no more.

The Spokane Parks Dept. is offering a campout June 20-21 at Farragut State Park called “Camping with Kids.” You’ll learn how to put up a tent, camp cooking and camp first aid and participate in camp-type activities like canoeing.

Fees are $10 per person or $30 a family. Provide your own meals.
