Northwest Airlines Cuts European Fares

Northwest Airlines will fly you from Spokane to Rome and back for $656.
Northwest has announced special reduced fares to Europe and beyond to celebrate its new daily nonstop service from Seattle to Amsterdam, beginning April 5.
By flying Northwest to Amsterdam and then connecting to Northwest/KLM flights with destinations throughout Europe, customers in the Pacific Northwest can realize savings of up to 50 percent on regular excursion fares to Europe.
Northwest says the savings are also available on Northwest/KLM flights from Amsterdam to Tel Aviv, Cairo and Nairobi.
The fares can be purchased immediately and are good for travel beginning April 5. All fares are nonrefundable and require a Saturday night stay. Tickets must be purchased by March 16, and all travel must be completed by June 15.
Other sample fares include round trip from Seattle to Amsterdam for $488; from Seattle to Stockholm for $538; and from Portland to Vienna for $624. , DataTimes
