Covenant Players To Perform At Opportunity Christian

From Staff Reports

The Inland Empire Unit of the Covenant Players will perform at Sunday’s 11 a.m. worship service at Opportunity Christian Church, 708 N. Pines.

The Covenant Players send teams to perform dramas, comedies, and other plays with a Christian message at churches around the world.

The group, organized in 1963, is based in Oxnard, Calif., and is directed by founder and playwright Charles Tanner. The group has performed more than a million times in 84 countries since its inception.

A potluck lunch will follow the special service. Those attending are asked to bring a hot dish as well as a salad or dessert and their own table service. Beverages will be provided.

All are invited to attend.
