Thin Mint Ice Cream Get Favorable Review

Rick Bonino Food Editor

Dreyer’s new limited-edition Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookie Ice Cream, which we recently served to The Spokesman-Review’s reader food panel, includes about a dozen crushed cookies in every half-gallon.

While they liked the minty cookie pieces, several panelists complained the dessert wasn’t creamy enough. Some even thought it was ice milk.

But, hey, you can’t blame the Girl Scouts for that.
