Veldon and Patricia Dobbs, Spokane, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 21 with dinner at Beverly’s in The Coeur d’Alene Resort.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Michael and Jan Dobbs, Spokane; Vicki and Philip Spangler, Logan, Utah; and Linda and John Stark, Dallas, Ore.

The Dobbs were married Dec. 21, 1948, in Denver, Colo. They have 10 grandchildren.
