Deputies Seek Robber Of Valley Bank
Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man who robbed a Spokane Valley bank branch Monday afternoon.
A man walked into the Fred Meyer at 15609 E. Sprague Ave. at 4:55 p.m. He handed the teller at the Washington Mutual Bank branch inside a note demanding money, deputies said. No weapon was displayed.
The suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash after bank customers attempted to chase him, deputies said.
He is described as white with dark, medium-length hair and a gaunt, unshaven face. He wore wrap-around sun glasses, a black jacket with pink and yellow neon stripes, black gloves, blue jeans and a Washington State University baseball hat.
