Indian Trail Library Reception Will Honor Artist Ilse Killian-Tan
The Indian Trail Library will host an artist lecture and reception honoring Ilse Killian-Tan on Jan. 16 at 3 p.m.
The public is invited to join her as she discusses her work, with an emphasis on two pieces she designed for the Indian Trail Branch Library, located at 4909 W. Barnes Road, just off Indian Trail Road.
Kilian-Tran will also show slides of some of her other work which has been hung in public and private settings from Anchorage, Alaska to Leipzig, Germany.
A reception will follow the lecture.

On Jan. 26 at 7 p.m., the library will offer a program titled “Scholarship Searching in the Internet.”
Downtown reference librarian Louise Sullivan will discuss how to find information on scholarships and financial aid by searching the Internet.
