Nic Wrestlers Score Two Wins At Two Sites

Six wrestlers won twice as North Idaho College defeated Highline and Pacific Lutheran in non-conference wrestling matches on Thursday.

The Cardinals defeated Highline Community College 42-3 at Midway, Wash., winning every match except heavyweight. David Sandberg won 4-3 at 197 pounds with a third-round takedown.

NIC then topped Pacific Lutheran University 31-12 at Des Moines, Wash.

Troy Sabot of the Cardinals had a second-round pin at 141; Scott Rasmussen (133) won 10-3 with four takedowns; and Josh Posey (285) won 4-3 with a final near fall.
