Martin Luther King Day on Monday is a holiday for some:

Schools: Washington public schools closed., Banks: Most branches closed. Some satellite branches in grocery stores and other locations open.

Mail: No delivery, but post office box service provided at the Riverside and Liberty Park stations.

Government offices: Federal, state, county and city offices closed.

Libraries: Spokane city libraries are closed. Spokane County libraries will be open.

Parking meters: Don’t need to be fed.

Buses: Spokane Transit Authority service on regular weekday schedule.

Garbage: Pickups continue on regular schedule.

Local journalism is essential.
