They say oil and water do not mix, but the Rockefeller family seems to be interested in both.

South Fork Lodge owner Mark Rockefeller, great-grandson of oil titan John D. Rockefeller, has made a move into Island Park, buying Henry’s Fork Anglers for an undisclosed sum.

Henry’s Fork Anglers provides guide service on the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River and also operates a fly shop in Last Chance.

Last March, Rockefeller purchased the South Fork Lodge and its outfitting business. Work is well under way on two new cabins, which will be ready for guests this summer.
