Woman Sought In Carjacking

Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a woman suspected of a Sunday carjacking in the Spokane Valley.

Sheila Dawn Clark, 32, is suspected of walking up to a car in the parking lot of the Kmart at Sprague and Sullivan about 4 p.m., pointing a revolver at the driver and demanding the car, deputies said.

The Geo Metro and the victim’s purse were recovered Monday near Third Avenue and Custer.

Clark was arrested in the Valley before dawn Thursday on eight unrelated misdemeanor warrants, deputies said.

She made bail and was released from jail before a detective could serve her with a warrant in the carjacking matter, sheriff’s spokesman Dave Reagan said.
