Patricia Marie Roe became the bride of William Alexander Nieman in a Dec. 1 ceremony on the Starboard Bridgewing of the S.S. Independence in Maui, Hawaii.

The bride is the daughter of Willard and Nancy Roe, Spokane. Al Nieman, Sandpoint, and Beverly Dickinson, Spokane, are the parents of the groom.

A small reception aboard the ship followed the ceremony with another planned later. The couple are living in Redmond after a honeymoon in Honolulu.

The bride is a graduate of Seattle University. The groom, a graduate of the Institute of Seattle, is an audio engineer.
