Homer Todd, pastor of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1620 N. Monroe, Spokane.

Background: Todd, 59, was ordained in 1962 after attending Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis. He has been at St. Paul’s more than six years, and prior to that he spent five years in Port Hadlock on the Washington coast.

Todd is co-chair of Advancing Solutions for Adolescent Pregnancy, based in Seattle. He also serves on the board of the Spokane Community Housing Association and is a member of the Spokane Area Teen Pregnancy Prevention Coalition.

Personal: Todd will celebrate his 25th wedding anniversary with wife Phyllis in May. Phyllis is the pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church on Spokane’s North Side.

The couple raised a blended family of five children, combining Homer’s two children and Phyllis’ three.
