Pepperdine’s last two games have been favorable for Gonzaga. Last Saturday, the Bulldogs pounded the Waves 83-52. Friday night, the Waves answered their wakeup call by defeating visiting Santa Clara 67-56. Jelani Gardner scored a game-high 20 points for Pepperdine.

Willie Allen scored 24 points and Haywood Eaddy added 21 points, 10 assists and five steals as LMU defeated visiting San Francisco 96-84. Gerald Zimmerman scored 32 points, his career high, for USF.
