Dmx’S Latest Holds No. 1 Spot

Three’s a charm for DMX. Despite an overall post-holiday slump, the rapper has the best-selling album at the nation’s retailers for a third consecutive week, according to SoundScan data provided by label sources. In fact, every album in the top 50 saw sales drop from the previous week.

DMX’s sophomore album, “Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood,” holds strong at No. 1 on sales of 135,000 units, down 45 percent from the previous week’s 248,000 sold. “Flesh” has sold more than 1 million copies since its Dec. 22 release.
