Among other business at the 5 p.m. meeting, commissioners will hear public comments about a recently enacted moratorium on new billboards.

Spokane Public Safety Committee

Tuesday, 11 a.m., fifth-floor conference room, City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

Among other matters, the committee will discuss the city’s Photo Red radar system and the destruction of confiscated guns.

Growth Management Steering Committee

The committee, which discusses issues related to the state’s Growth Management Act, is comprised of elected officials from the county and the cities and towns within its borders. Among other business, committee members will discuss proposed growth boundaries for Airway Heights, Deer Park and Rockford.
