International Wildlife Film Fest

Five top films from the 1998 International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula are coming to Spokane for a mini-festival Jan. 23 at the Met.

The best films from the 21st annual festival include:

“Lower Orders,” a humorous short claymation chronicling the misadventures of back alley wildlife.

“Alaska’s Coolest Animals,” a safari through the state’s most beautiful and threatened areas.

“Survival in the Sea,” behaviors of strange creatures below the waves.

“Ultimate Guide to Elephants,” and in-depth look at the species using elegant photography and cuttingedge special effects.

“Leopard,” revolutionary footage of leopards hunting at night as well as a look at their private daytime lives.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door for adults, and $3 for children under 12.
