Four Injured In Two-Car Accident

A two-car accident in northeast Spokane County left four people injured Wednesday evening, sheriff’s deputies said.

The accident happened about 5:15 p.m. near the intersection of Bigelow Gulch and Palmer roads.

One of the cars apparently crossed the center line of the roadway and hit the other vehicle nearly head-on, deputies said.

The accident blocked traffic along Bigelow Gulch for several hours, deputies said.

The victims were not identified and the extent of their injuries were unavailable late Wednesday.
