Flying High

New York City unveiled its official aircraft for the Big Apple’s millennium celebration, NYC 2000. The plane made its inaugural flight Tuesday from Seattle to New York City, where it will be christened by Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. The $150 million jumbo jet was painted bright red, yellow, orange and blue by pop artist Peter Max and delivered by the Boeing Company.
