Trent Terrace Grand Opening Today

Wed., Oct. 6, 1999

A grand opening celebration for Trent Terrace, 12426 E. Broadway, is planned for 3 p.m. today. Mayor John Talbott will speak.

The project is an apartment complex for people with mental illness and other special needs and is named after Ken Trent, who was executive director of Volunteers for America for 23 years. He also was the coordinator of The Spokesman-Review Chrismas Bureau until his death in 1997.

The complex is funded by Volunteers of America, Kiemle and Hagood Co. and National Services of Volunteers of America Inc.
