Convenience Store Robbed At Gunpoint

Police are looking for two men who robbed a downtown convenience store early Wednesday morning.

A clerk at Horne’s Petro Stop and Shop, at 1501 Sherman Ave., told Coeur d’Alene police that two men robbed her at gunpoint just before 5 a.m.

The men had bandanas over their faces. One pulled out a large barreled handgun and pointed it at the clerk’s head, according to police reports.

The men then took an undisclosed amount of money out of the cash register, according to police reports.

Both robbers were described as a white, in their mid-20s, 5-foot-11, with brown hair, wearing bandanas.
