Dear Nancy: I’m an executive at an office that is being closed due to financial reasons. I feel helpless because a lot of blame has been directed at me, based on false rumors. I’m also trying to figure out what to do after this company closes. This dream was very disconcerting. - Alicia

A baby is born in a hospital where I work. The person delivering the baby hands it to me and tells me it’s dead. It’s my job to make sure by breaking its back, which I do. The scene changes and I’m driving with the baby in the back seat. It’s noticeably alive and very pretty with a radiant smile on its face. I’m aware it has a broken back and I feel responsible for what happens to it. It begins to grow a penis and I try, unsuccessfully, to push the penis back in. The baby smiles happily.
