Newly discovered sheet music written by neo-classic composer Ludwig van Beethoven has astounded the music world and has been valued by Sotherby’s at $250,000. The 23-bar quartet in B minor has been in a collection in Cornwall since it was penned for a young English traveller by the Austrian composer nearly two centuries ago. The work will go on sale in December.
