Tatiana Brings Her World To Sandpoint’S Panida

Tatiana and her band Fatamorgana will perform a new show of world music and original songs tonight at 7:30 at Sandpoint’s Panida Theater.

A resident of Usk, Tatiana has performed throughout the Inland Northwest. Born in Russia, she started her music education at age 6. While in her 20s, she performed around Europe. She emigrated in 1990 for political reasons.

A soprano and composer, Tatiana blends classical, jazz, pop and New Age styles into her folk music. She also performs traditional Russian and Gypsy songs. Her new CD, “Gypsy Star,” features a traditional Gypsy wedding song and a Cossack folk song as well as her original compositions.

Tickets to tonight’s show are $10 ($7 for students and seniors), available through G&B Select-a-Seat and at the door.
