This Concert Has Some Wheels Attached To It
If you like rolling though a half-pipe and grooving to funky music, tonight you can have both. The second annual Skate and Music Fest will be at 8 p.m. at The Met.
Three professional skaters from California — Jesse Paez, Pancho Molar and Colt Cannon — will wheel through the air as four bands pump out the tunes. Civilized Animal, Delbert, The Carcinogens and Upper Class Racket will take the stage.
Organizers are bringing in a special half-pipe that will be assembled on stage. The event is for all ages, a perfect spot for the under-21 crowd to catch some popular acts and watch the pros catch some air.
Tickets are $10, available through G&B Select-A-Seat (325-SEAT) or at sponsoring businesses like 4000 Holes and Crescent Downworks.
