Women’S Center Seeking Directors

The Women’s Center is looking for men and women to serve on its board of directors.

Board members set policy, keep tabs on the budget, participate in center activities, and help with fund-raising.

The Women’s Center helps victims of domestic violence, rape and sexual assault through its advocacy programs, shelter, crisis intervention, counseling and outreach.

Applicants should submit a letter including why they want to serve on the board, a brief personal history and community references. The letter must also include the applicant’s name, address, and home and work phone numbers.

Letters should be sent by Oct. 25 to: Richard Kohles, chairman of the Board Nominating Committee, c/o The Women’s Center, 1010 Ironwood Drive, Suite 110, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.
