The Spokane Braves are hoping for better success in the Arena today and Sunday than they found Friday.

Spokane (3-3), which entertains Golden at noon today and Nelson Sunday at 2, lost a 3-2 Kootenay International Junior Hockey League decision to Castlegar (6-2).

Brock Johnson scored the winner with 6:35 to play. KIJHL scoring leader Ben Nelson assisted on both Spokane goals. He has 16 points.
