Man Charged With Raping Infant
An 18-year-old man was charged Friday with raping and abusing his newborn daughter.
Justin Jennings was charged in Mason County Superior Court with first-degree assault of a child and first-degree rape of a child. His newborn daughter was beaten, raped with kitchen utensils and injected with citronella oil, said Mason County Undersheriff Gary Crane.
“He revealed to detectives he was frustrated with the child care arrangements … just had been frustrated and took this incredible inhumane rage toward this infant,” Crane told KOMO-TV.
The baby was in critical but stable condition at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma. She has suffered a skull fracture, a broken leg and internal injuries, according to Mason County investigators.
The girl was born Sept. 13.
